Description
In Captain Calamity, Bill Jones, commander of the South Seas vessel Marigold, agrees to take an Australian fellow to Tapillo in exchange for a Spanish doubloon. Jones in turn gives the coin to a trader for supplies, who believes that Jones has discovered pirate's treasure. Soon Captain Calamity has a real calamitous situation on his hands. In The black pirate, when a young nobleman's father is mercilessly killed by pirates, he vows that one day he'll become a matchless swashbuckler and that he'll track down the villains responsible for his father's death. In Wallaby Jim of the islands, Wallaby Jim and his men discover a pearl bed in the South Pacific, but although it seems they've struck it rich, several problems arise that stand in the way of their fortune. In Jamaica Inn, a group of vicious smugglers black out warning signals for ships, causing them to crash upon the rocky shore.
